Government Shutdown would Prevent Filings to U.S. Department of Labor

//Government Shutdown would Prevent Filings to U.S. Department of Labor

If Congress does not reach an agreement on the FY2016 budget in the next week, it will shut down on October 1, 2015. A Federal Government shutdown impacts Employer’s ability to file immigration-related paperwork to the U.S. Department of Labor including Labor Condition Applications (LCA), Prevailing Wage Determination Requests, Labor Certification Applications (PERM) or Temporary Employment Certification (H-2A/H-2B). Please contact SPS Immigration if you have questions about how a government shutdown would impact your immigration case.
