US District Court denies preliminary injunction request permitting certain H-4 dependents to file for EAD

On May 24th a US District Court Judge denied a request by Save Jobs USA for a preliminary injunction on the H-4 EAD regulations (https://ecf.dcd.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/show_public_doc?2015cv0615-13). This means that certain H-4 dependents remain eligible to submit EAD applications May 26th, 2015.

Effective May 26th, USCIS will temporarily suspend the premium processing option for H-1B Extension Petitions. H-1B Petitions requesting Change of Status remain eligible for Premium Processing.
